Operating within a practice that has been described as “outsider engineering”, he works predominantly with obsolete technologies and salvaged materials . Typically he creates electro-acoustic musical instruments that combine mechanical automation with hand-made audio/visual electronics, and often exhibit some degree of autonomy or non-linear behavior. He uses combinations of these devices to create interactive installations and live performances of various kinds.
In addition he has been involved in staging various sound-art/new music events including “school of noises”.
